This afternoon I made it through our big, chaotic grocery store with both kids and a pretty long list of necessities.
I think we may survive after all.
(About an hour after we got home, I looked in the fridge for the gallon of skim milk I bought. It wasn't there. Or in the car. I think I must have left it in the shopping cart in the parking lot. But still. If a gallon of milk is the only casualty, I think we're doing pretty well.)

Congrats--now you're ready for Target!
ReplyDeleteActually, I think the grocery store is harder. I have yet to attempt it with both.
And it only gets easier.
ReplyDeleteWhen my girl was a newborn I left a whole raft of baby clothes in the cart in the Target parking lot. Now I never forget anything since that thought still pains me! I'm sure it'll be the same for you. Welcome to paranoia about making sure you get home with all your purchases.
