Can you guess what it is?

I know I promised no more compost photos for a while, but I love the texture and weight of this. And besides, I found it—ahem—in my fridge like this. The compost bin is just where it happened to end up.

  1. I was just about to say you'd been outdone (and by a local, no less), but now I'm not so sure.

I noticed hers had more of a "big picture" angle. No juicy (if stinky) details like yours.
My house smells like cat litter when it rains. I can't take a picture, but you'd better pick a dry day to come by or consider yourself warned. I've tried everything short of getting rid of the cat.

  2. Grapefruit? We have a lemon tree that only makes mutant lemons the size of grapefruits, with rinds an inch thick, and I just saw a fallen one outside that looked a lot like this.

  3. It's still raining. The litter was changed 2 days ago, and the floor scrubbed with bleach. Do you think if I planted Orbit in your house, we could just convince your girls Lucy'd found her way home and lost a few pounds on the way? Damn, I shouldn't have said anything, and just done a drive-by instead...

Could it be fallout from some kind of meteor shower? In planet fridge?

  5. looks like citrus, for sure. I'm sad to say I have some experience with this. Are those carrot peelings on top? Looks dandy! Enjoy the compost. :)
